Cycling shows you one perspective — from the ground, through effort, breath, and rhythm. But when you lift your eyes — and your camera — the story changes. Filming from above reveals the hidden poetry of the road: how a single line of tarmac winds through green hills, how a lake mirrors the sky, how a rider becomes part of the landscape itself.
That’s why I ride with two companions — my DJI Air 2S and DJI Neo — drones that help me capture the full journey, both earth and sky.
DJI Air 2S — my eye in the clouds.
With its 1-inch CMOS sensor and 5.4K video, it sees every detail: the shimmer on water, the texture of mountain rock, the glow of sunset light. Its ActiveTrack 4.0 follows my movement smoothly, even through narrow mountain curves, while APAS 4.0 obstacle sensing keeps flights safe when the terrain gets wild. When I’m filming long climbs or sweeping descents, the Air 2S gives me cinematic shots that turn effort into art.
DJI Neo — my agile storyteller.
Small, light, and incredibly quick to launch, the Neo is perfect for spontaneous filming during rides. It follows me like a silent friend, capturing close aerials — the curve of a road, the rhythm of my pedaling, reflections of sky on my helmet. It’s my “flying GoPro,” always ready to chase the moment when light and motion align.
For me, the drone isn’t just a tool — it’s a storyteller.
- It shows the poetry of a single rider in a vast landscape.
- It helps others see what I see — Albania’s wild beauty from above.
- It adds rhythm to my films — climbs, curves, and endless skies.
When the drone follows me, it’s like sharing the road with a silent friend — one who never gets tired, never misses the view, and always remembers how it felt to ride through the wind.
Every flight is a memory from above — and every story, a reminder that Albania is even more beautiful when you see it from the sky.
