Filmmaker on two wheels — capturing Albania’s untold beauty through cycling journeys.
This is my personal project — a journey built from my love for cycling, storytelling, and the beauty of Albania.
Here, I share my rides, routes, and reflections from the road — blending adventure, culture, and the quiet joy of discovery on two wheels.
The bicycle has been one of my dearest companions since childhood. My parents bought me a little red bike with side training wheels — I think it was called “Fatosi” — when I was just four years old. I learned to balance on two wheels a few years later, riding my aunt’s old bicycle through the quiet streets of my hometown.
Back then, almost every family had at least one bike. We had two — my parents used them every day to ride to work. Later, I cycled to high school for four years straight, even in winter, on a bike named “Ylli.” When I became a student, I bought another one — and honestly, I’ve never lived without a two-wheeler since.
For me, the bicycle is more than just transport — it’s a way of life. It’s how I move through the city, explore new roads, stay healthy, film, meditate, and connect with nature. It has just the right speed to take in every detail around you and the freedom no other vehicle can offer. And of course, it keeps our world clean.
Today, I ride almost every day — short city spins, long weekend adventures, and journeys that take me across valleys, mountains, and coastlines.
I’d love to share this experience with you. If you’d like to join, follow the calendar of upcoming tours — and let’s ride together.
Because Albania is even more beautiful when you see it from a bicycle.
