Welcome to Albania by Bike. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.
1. Introduction
By using our services or booking a tour with Albania by Bike, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the following terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. Reservations
To book a tour, please fill out the booking form on our website or contact us directly via email. Your reservation is not secured until we send you a written confirmation.
2.2. Payment
An invoice will be issued up to 14 days before the tour departure. A portion of the total may be required upon booking confirmation, and the remaining balance is payable on your arrival, no later than the first day before the tour begins. Payments can be made via bank transfer or online payment (if applicable).
2.3. Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us via email.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1. Cancellation by the Client
- More than 14 days before the tour: 100% refund of the deposit
- 1 to 13 days before the tour: 70% refund of the deposit
- On the day of the tour: No refund
3.2. Cancellation by Albania by Bike
In the rare event that we need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you an alternative date or provide a full refund.
4. Tour Changes
4.1. Changes by the Client
If you wish to make changes to your booking, please notify us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee all changes can be made.
4.2. Changes by Albania by Bike
We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the itinerary due to weather conditions, road closures, or other unexpected situations.
5. Health and Fitness
5.1. Fitness Requirements
Participants must be in good physical condition, suitable for cycling and outdoor activities. We will provide detailed tour information including difficulty level, route length, riding hours, elevation, and other relevant details. Please consult your doctor beforehand if you have any doubts.
5.2. Medical Conditions
You are required to inform us in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements that may affect your participation in the tour.
6. Travel Insurance
All participants are required to have valid travel insurance that covers medical expenses, personal accidents, and emergency evacuation for the full duration of the tour.
7. Liability
7.1. Personal Responsibility
Albania by Bike is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, loss, or damage incurred during the tour. Participation is at your own risk.
7.2. Third-Party Services
We may work with trusted third-party providers (e.g., accommodations, transport). We are not liable for any actions or omissions by these third parties.
8. Equipment Use
All bicycles, helmets, and other equipment provided remain the property of Albania by Bike. You are responsible for their proper use and return. Any loss or damage will be subject to repair or replacement costs.
9. Photography and Marketing
Photos and videos may be taken during the tour for promotional purposes, but only with your prior approval or upon signing a model release for commercial use. By participating, you allow us to use such material for editorial purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Albania.
