Begin your day in the heart of Tirana, at Skanderbeg Square, and slowly ride out of the city, following the peaceful banks of the Lana River. The road gently climbs into the tranquil Surrel Valley, where the noise fades and the greenery begins. As you ascend the eastern slopes of Mount Dajti, the road twists through quiet villages and patches of wild forest, offering your first glimpses of the city from above.

You’ll stop to catch your breath near a natural cold-water spring, surrounded by tall pine trees — a perfect refreshment before pushing upward. The ride continues to the Dajti Cable Car station area at 1050 meters elevation, where the views open dramatically. From here, gaze over the Tirana plain to the Adriatic Sea, and if you’re up for more, enjoy optional activities like horse riding or a gentle hike through the forest paths.

After a delicious traditional Albanian lunch in a cozy mountaintop restaurant, it’s time to descend — gently and carefully — through the cool forest trails of Dajti Park.
